Several factors affecting tin can printing

2020-11-18

1.The quality of film

The influence of film quality on beer can printing is mainly reflected in the linearity of the printing film and the quality of the film development.

The film linearity refers to the consistency between the actual number of dots on the pattern of the film and the number of dots required by the pattern itself, which can be detected with a standard ladder. If the linearity is not correct, the produced product cannot correspond to the original at all. The quality of film development is mainly the effect of the development quality on the quality of the dots during the output of the film. Insufficient development will cause the edges of the dots to be unclear, and excessive development will cause the dots to become illegible and lost.

2.Printing quality

The influence of printing quality on tin can printing is mainly reflected in quality control during exposure and development. Excessive exposure and development will lead to the loss of halftone dots. Brightness (low halftone dots) will not be fine enough in some layers. Insufficient exposure and development will cause the high tone halftones to become smaller, and the dark tone will have a poor level. The quality of the printing plate can be accurately judged through the printing plate measurement and control strip.

3.Ink suitability

The effect of ink-compatible tinplate printing is mainly on the emulsification performance of the ink. Excessive emulsification will cause ink to accumulate on the ink and water channels, causing paste. Insufficient emulsification will deteriorate the transferability of the ink, and the ink cannot be evenly transferred to the substrate , Resulting in unstable printing. The emulsification performance of ink is mainly affected by the quality of the ink itself, which is related to the binder and auxiliary of the ink. The compatibility of different inks varies greatly.

 4.Printing pressure

The impact of printing pressure on printed cans is mainly reflected by the two aspects of ink transfer and dot quality. Printing pressure includes: the pressure between the ink roller on the ink road, the pressure between the plate ink roller and the printing plate, the water pressure, the pressure between the printing plate and the blanket, and the pressure between the rubber roller and the impression roller. Any abnormal pressure mentioned above will abnormally expand the dots and affect the final result of tinplate printing.
